MEET MONROE MOUSE!
Monroe Mouse lives in the
historic 1795 Stroud Mansion. Through his adventures and
observations, Monroe tells the story of life in Colonial
America, helping the Monroe County Historical Association
educate young visitors about the history of our area.
Monroe was democratically
elected as the Stroud Mansion Mascot in May 2008. More than
400 adults and children took part in the voting, which
began during the Pocono Mountains Chamber of Commerce Expo
and ending on Pennsylvania Primary Election Day in April.
Monroe Mouse was elected in a landslide against two other
contenders: Caleb Cricket and Sarah Spider.
