Guest speaker: Susan E. Klepp, Ph.D., professor of history at Temple University, will present the tale of a local woman named Johanna who sought freedom from enslavement in 1749, and who inspired the community in and around Dansbury to aid her quest.

Awards presentations: 2012 Preserve, Enhance and Protect (PEP) Awards. Lifetime Achievement Award. MCHA Volunteer of the Year Award. Educator of the Year Award.
